since creation i have seen how God demonstrate love towards his people and how he require us to love him and each other  
God is love (john 1:1-4) God stresses it to the isrealites in Deautronomy 8 how he want his people to stay in touch with him, he uses priests and prophets as mediums to relate to his people, God is interested in our everyday affairs, he is intrested in all we go through, he came as man in the image of jesus his son to demontrate his love to us.
King david also made us know it is a great thing to be in the pressence of God Psalm 16:8 staying in Gods pressence gives you confidence.
